Take Me Back To France

“So immersed  in Provence rural culture my dreams were often in French. Occasionally I would remember flying high above small farm villages or a family Mas. Perhaps it was my curiosity and need to explore more deeply a culture I could never quite be a part of.

On returning back to Canada, In a dream it would ever so strangely travel back to France. A fairy tale land of patterned field leading to a centuries old hamlet. I can blur my eyes and see the sweet softness of rural life steeped in centuries of history. Stone Bastide, and ancient chateau fit into a landscape not quite real, imagined and yet I have been there!“ J

Colourful and vibrant canvas limited editions are each signed and numbered by Artist Jill Louise Campbell.  The canvas artwork is produced locally on Salt Spring Island using archival inks and advanced printing technology.  All prints are carefully top-coated for added UV protection, providing flexibility to hang in bright sun-filled spaces. 

The Small & Medium Limited Editions are stretched by hand onto Canadian-made wood stretcher bars, ready to hang and enjoy. The Large size is normally shipped rolled due to its size, with stretching easily done by your local framer.

Artist Jill Louise Campbell offers original enhancements to the Medium and Large sizes. Original enhancements add colour and texture, bringing out colours and adding the lovely true gold sparkle to the artists signature lining work.
