This painting was originally painted with acrylic on hardboard. It was reproduced using best current technology, professionally scanned for excellent resolution. My personal feeling is a limited edition reproduction in the medium size is best represented in clairity and colour when I also enhance, as reproduction imaging will include the grain of the canvas sub-straight. Enhancing is with acrylic paint, layers of acrylic colour provide texture and also my signature gold outline work give life and vitality that is unequaled. I paint each piece for each client taking many hours. I can attest as well repeat clients say it gives beautiful originality to each limited edition. This original painting enhancement will bring bring years of viewing pleasure. Jill

‘Field of Roses’, old French architecture intrigue me. Our three months this time in France was concentrated in The Lot and Languedoc area south west France. We visit many remote villages up into the foothills of the Pyrenees. History of this area is of The Cathars. The Knights of Templar figured prominently in their story. The rose a symbol of The Knights is of course grown outside many old homes. Jill
