Daybreak in Provence

Colourful and vibrant fine art canvas limited editions are each signed and numbered by Artist Jill Louise Campbell.  This canvas artwork is produced locally on Salt Spring Island using archival inks and advanced printing technology.  All prints are carefully top-coated for added UV protection, providing flexibility to hang in bright sun-filled spaces.

 The large 3-panel triptych canvas prints create a lovely 4’ x 6’ collage, making a powerful statement in any room.  They are signed and numbered Limited Editions.  Like the Large Limited Editions, they are normally shipped rolled, ready to be mounted and framed by your local framer.  If you would prefer that they be mounted by the gallery, please call Carmen at the gallery (250-537-1589) and she will be pleased to look after the order and shipping of these unique pieces.

“DayBreak in Provence”

‘This small valley in the Vaucluse Region of Provence we inhabited for a year while our daughters attended a one room school. I painted the idyllic farms and landscape intrigued with layout of generational precision, living designs in seasonal colour, a patchwork of grapes, and fruit tree orchards particularly seductive in morning light. A nocturnal blanket still shrouds the orchard here waiting for the sun penetration, while the first light shimmers on a distant hill. This is a moment captured between two worlds. Jill
