"In the pantheon of gods early Mexican history’s most famous is Quetzalcoatl. One story I read explained in ancient times when gods were worshipped two gods remained enemys fighting for dominance. The god of the air The Eagle and the god of the earth The Serpent. The people wishing for reconciliation worked out their differences by merging the two becoming one. The Quetzalcoatl, the winged serpent became the dominant protector god that even today its image is portrayed in many renditions. It is often painted on buildings, tshirts and jewelry. Here is my version. ...."
