Gallery update for Spring
The warmth of spring is unfolding softly on Salt Spring Island.
The gallery is now open Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm. Ā
Artist Jill Louise Campbell and our gallery registrar Carmen look forward to welcoming you to our new fresh open gallery space. The gallery is full of colourful artwork with more space dedicated to showing originals, we have added an art vault to store more canvas artwork and a private display space. There is a mirror and space for the Art scarves, art cards assorted collections and single cards are now available. gift art prints are a new smaller size, framed with our new hand made wood frame.
Our new frames are fabulous, the artists husband Duart has enjoyed woodworking and has even built a house! He set out to create a durable wood frame that could be fixed if ever needed, used local pine wood and was manufactured close to the art. Ā
The result is a strong cream coloured rustic pine frame, it has a country feel and also fits in a modern space due to the strait shape. Ā The finish is rubbed and waxed. It is honest to its source and strong in its design.Ā

Hello Jill,
I appreciate your update on your art work in France+ & new airy gallery!
Duart has created a lovely frame to complement your workš. I have 3 of your smaller prints plus a larger one (moon with row boats/ bluey background), your roses scarf is hanging on my bedroom door & a set of your mixed cards(given sparingly), in my desk drawer! When you come to Australia to do a painting tripāļø, I hope you visit the Grt Barrier Reef, Ayers Rock (Uluru) & the Kimberley area. Have you ever done any art at Maracaibo on Salt Spring? My grand father (Fred Abbott) built original house there & my father (Richard) lived a few years there. Salt Spring is a beautiful island and your studio is the prime attraction! Iām so glad to have visited it once more in October 2019!
Blessings
Ashley & Barry Prinable
