Sailing Rope Bracelets

I originally created the sailing bracelets for team Min. I love finding unique ways to have fun with team gear.

This fabulous pink racing line is from Fisheries Supply in Seattle, I was pretty exited to find it.

Not only did I make the team matching bracelets, but also have the sweetest boom vang, traveler line, and assorted other line aboard Min.

Double handed. Skipper and Crew. Love this dark olive green racing line with a dark blue fleck. Stainless polished clasp.

Purple with white racing line, stainless steal clasp. In winter I am in the mood to be paired with wool capes, pea coats, and layers of jeweled tone warmth.

Summer aboard and in the water.

Dark navy with crisp white sailing racing line, stainless clasp.

Boating season where we happy hour cheers from the golden swan.

Dark navy with white sailing line, stainless polished clasp.

Red with white stripe racing sailing line, stainless polished clasp.

I associate this bracelet with the great Swiftsure Yacht Race off Victoria.

Swiftsure window display, with the bracelets featured. I donated a few to the auction to support the race.

I love getting swept up in Swiftsure Yacht Race

If racing any of the courses, checking out the great visiting race boats packed into the inner harbour. Or following the race tracker. I also love catching a view of boats as they deliver to and from the race.

One recent year the race was really light and not many finished. The lovely Martha from Port Townsend anchored in Cadboro Bay after the race, I happen to be out in the dinghy to watch her hoist her sails, and sail gracefully off her anchor. She had almost full sail (you never know what full is, with those bots) reaching out of the bay, the water was flat and I enjoyed an old 20 knot stealth fly by. I will find the video and post it here.
