Beach combing and collecting raw material
I love to beach comb and make rustic crafts with jetsam boat wood, old log boom signs, and driftwood that I collect in the Pacific Northwest.
This journal about collecting raw jetsam boat wood on the shores of the PNW

I beach comb remote beaches, most of what I collect is garbage and plastic. But what I find so interesting is the jetsam boat wood and materials that were previously a boat. Only the power of the sea can create these unusual shapes and finishes. Bright marine layers of colours, flake with a story of a past proud life at sea.
