Newly arrived! Velvet Pillows

We are thrilled to feature our charming Velvet Pillows! Two beautiful themes that have delighted our clients. ‘Contentment’, feeling the island vibes of placid sheep grazing under a canopy of Olive trees, yes Salt Spring Island has Olive Groves!

This idyllic scene originally inspired from Tuscany where I spent six weeks immersed in painting and exhibiting my art at Museo D’arte di Chianciano. Everyday I drove back roads viewing a contented scene of sheep grazing in quiet areas. Here on Salt Spring Island we have many sheep farms and years ago our semi Mediterranean climate spawned a few experimenting farmers to grove Olive Trees. TheOliveFarm.ca is today a small cottage industry blossoming with production of olive oil that together with charming views allow a deep reminiscing of beloved Italian travels.

‘Happy Dance’ my second Velvet pillow richly imbued with twirling roses offers up a positive feeling to any decor. Charmingly sophisticated roses evoke warmth, love, calm. Roses have been a favourite theme for me as well many clients.

Yes our Annual Winter Auction is approaching and for the month of March each Saturday for four weeks our set prices offer incremental savings to you!

Our webpages for This 2024 Auction are being designed and will feature a fabulous selection of previously viewed limited editions. Over 50 paintings will be actively sought after so enjoy picking your favourite images and choose your price while appreciating the risk of missing out if you wait for that lower price.

Our Winter has been busy! A gallery renovation including a featured viewing area created just for my France and Italy paintings. This coincides with my new book I am writing on France featuring my writings and paintings, inspirations from 50years travelling throughout this favourite destination. I expect to have my book available mid Fall 2024.
